Hi Janae,Just found your blog via Gena from Choosing Raw. I like what I see! This is a totally birarze question from left field but I thought I might see what your opinion is. I'm expecting my third baby next spring and I always hated my nursing chair, i.e. the chair in the baby's room that you spend a lot of time nursing in. I'm tall like you (5'9 ) and am shopping around for a new chair. I happened to see an ad on the side of your page for a chair that I'm considering! Anyway, no stores near me sell the brand so if I want to try it out, I'd have to drive a couple hours at least (which I may do for a comfy chair!). Just curious what you like. I am someone who really needs a well-fitting chair (I've never been able to just meander around the house with baby latched on and maybe you have been and have no idea what I'm talking about!). My daughter has mild aleilgers to peanuts AND soy. Her main reaction is eczema. Thankfully we don't have to worry about life threatening reactions. But until we found out about the allergy, she loved peanut butter sandwiches. Since we couldn't go with soy butter, our allergist suggested Sunbutter. It is made with sunflower seeds. It tastes much like peanut butter and when you put it with jelly, honey or bananas, you can't tell the difference.
Love your plans I too have a large family (only 7 clredihn, though, 6 at home now) and plan out our menu by the week. I bulk purchase and bulk cook. I love having only to pull out our main dish and occasionally a side or two from the freezer in the mornings. Makes everything so much easier. I am working on freezer foods for lunches. Have been slack in that area and we usually just eat leftovers. Breakfasts we have down pretty well and keep a good bit on hand in the freezer for that as well. Snacks are another area. I LOVE sweets and have a daughter who loves to bake them, so we have cookies, cake or pie at least once a week. At least they are homemade, right?Your family is beautiful! Curious as to the music aspect in your home. We have some pianists/violinists dh plays trumpet in the local symphony and both of us have master's degrees in music.
